Jules Kim and I started Select Fridays at Le Bain as something simple—a daytime party with good music and better people. One of the few independent events that André Balazs welcomed into his carefully curated nightlife program.

We created afternoons where the energy felt right. Where the 360-degree views of Manhattan became the perfect backdrop for connection. A door policy that chose vibe over status: what you brought to the room mattered more than who you knew. Fashion’s next wave brushed shoulders with art world provocateurs and music icons looking for genuine connection. Regulars who became part of the story. Days that turned the city into a backdrop for something special.

Together we created a movement that traveled beyond one rooftop. Stockholm called. London wanted a taste. Berlin opened its doors. Paris invited us repeatedly to transform Silencio, David Lynch's carefully guarded space.

For a decade, we maintained something honest in a world that often feels anything but. A gathering that valued the unexpected mix, the interesting conversation, the perfect summer soundtrack. A Friday tradition that became part of what made New York feel like New York—even as we took it around the world.
